As the couple grew to appreciate and love the area, it became obvious that this beauty must be preserved. The result: From one original homestead, five lovingly restored properties on the meandering Swan River---flowing between the Swan and the Mission Mountains and adjacent to the Bob Marshall Wilderness. Halfway up the mountain is a log-accent lodge with breathtaking views of the Swan Valley to the south and the magnificent Flathead Lake to the west.

The Flathead Lake is the largest fresh water lake west of the Mississippi River. Bigfork, right on the lake, is just 45 minutes south of Glacier National Park, one of our country’s greatest wonders---in deed the “Crown Jewel of the Continent”. Bigfork is the quintessential small town with charm. Its narrow streets are nestled into the surrounding hillside---dotted with a summer theater, galleries, fine restaurants, and unique shops.
